Mount Wechecha is extinct volcano in Mirab (West) Shewa Zone, west of the capital, Addis Ababa. Its' peak reaches 3,385 meters (11,106 ft) above sea level. At the bottom of Wechecha Mountain is Menagesha Forest, the oldest national park in Africa. Wildlife includes: Baboons, Colobus monkey, Menelik's Bushbuck, Warthogs, and various birds. We've been told that even leopards can be seen ... we were not so "lucky"
